Software that can uncompress and unencrypt zip archives (Support recommends 7-zip)
When the data is sharable, you will receive a link in your email to access your data. The title of the email will inform you that a member of the support team has shared a folder with you. Please check your spam folder.
The Support team will also send you a password. This password is for the encryption of the folder. Note this down for later.
If you have a large database, you may receive more than one shared folder. The process below will be applicable for each shared folder.
Follow the link to access OneDrive. Follow the instructions to verify your identity. Again, check your spam folder for this code.
Each folder that is shared may be up to 250GB of data. Please be sure the computer you are downloading the data onto has enough storage for both the archive and the resulting uncompressed folder (up to 500GB total for one shared folder).
After verifying your identity, select download to begin download your data
After the data has completed downloading, right click the archive and select 7-Zip > Extract Here. Otherwise you can specify the destination with 'Extract files...'.
Enter the password supplied earlier by the Support team and select OK
The data contained in the shared folders will be exactly as they were stored in XVWeb. The format for each individual image will be DICOM.
Duplicate FilesIf you have multiple XVWeb sites and you have duplicate DICOM data, you can remove those duplicates by combining all of the data into one folder and skipping duplicates.
